It’s just a jump to the left! And a step to the riiiight – Rocky Horror Picture Show
Next morning was an early start and we drove to Hamilton, heading straight to the gardens. The gardens had an interesting variety of cultures and themes and we spent a lot of time wandering around each garden admiring the meticulous beauty.
We were able to visit most of the gardens, but some where under renovation.
There are Japanese Gardens
Mad Hatters Tea Party
Italian Renaissance Gardens
Next we visited the museum, it was quite small and not a lot happening at the time we went, unless you’re a child.
Out the front was a pretty cool water sculpture though:
The main street in Hamilton is a nice little one to explore as well. It was quite a nice day with lovely blue skies.
And who could forget Richard O’Brien’s famous ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW! This musical is my personal favourite. So getting to dance the Time Warp next to a statue of Riff-Raff was a highlight of Hamilton.
Later that day we visited a little Italian place for dinner, and Easy Tiger for drinks. Both had good service.
