Tasman Peninsula

It’s not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves. – Edmund Hillary

The Tasman Peninsula is always worth a trip!

I visited Cape Hauy a month or so ago, couple hours in the car from Hobart.
There is also the opportunity to partake in The Three Capes track, fully organised tour of the 3 capes with accommodation and transport which equates to around $500 from memory.

For those driving it is worthwhile to have a Parks Pass sticker on your car when reaching the car park as there is a charge for being there.

The walk is approximately 4 hours return and has some degree of difficulty. It is quite steep in some areas and some parts are uneven, but there is always a path to stick to. Recommended to bring lots of water and also to bring snacks, and obviously hiking boots. The top can get quite windy.
